2024 was an excellent vintage qualitatively; however, despite a second year of good rainfall, yields were down significantly. However quality was still stellar, and the grapes were highly concentrated with excellent flavors and spectacular acidities across the board.
Comprised of fruit from Grassini Family, Grimm’s Bluff, Vogelzang, and Two Wolves, fermentation was carried out in neutral French oak and stainless steel barrels, and malolactic fermentation was blocked.
ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 93 POINTS - "The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc (Happy Canyon) is a minerally rich white that packs so much complexity and intensity into its midweight frame. Sea salt, crushed rocks and a whiff of white smoke accent a base layer of golden mango, honeydew melon and kiwi. It's a combination that works oh so well. If this is any indication, 2024 is a wonderful Sauvignon Blanc vintage in Santa Barbara County."
