Crafted from Jack Daniel’s distinctive rye mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, the whiskey undergoes the distillery’s signature charcoal mellowing process before entering new, handmade American white oak barrels for maturation.

This particular private barrel was matured in Barrel House 2-18, a barrelhouse that has produced a number of notable high-proof Jack Daniel’s rye selections. At 130 proof, the whiskey is presented at its natural barrel strength rather than being proofed down to a standardized bottling proof, preserving the individuality and intensity of the selected barrel.
