The sixth and concluding release in The Macallan Harmony Collection, Inspired by Fresh Coconut, showcases the Macallan Whisky Mastery Team’s skill in bringing tropical coconut, zesty lime and tropical fruit notes to the fore.

Maturation Whisky Mastery is at the heart of this release.
In this flavour led whisky, The Macallan Whisky Mastery team set out to identify – out with the confines of age – a distinctive tropical coconut flavour note; the result of high levels of oak lactones found in the wood.

Only first fill American oak casks – Quercus Alba – have been selected to allow qualities naturally present in the wood to emphasise the sense of coconut.
The inclusion of casks that have previously held bourbon and sherry seasoned American oak bring balance and roundness.

Aroma: Fresh coconut, zesty lime, citrus notes of lemon and orange, tropical mango and papaya, layered with vanilla, almond, sweet oak, and a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon.

 Palate: Sweet lime, lemon and vanilla sponge with desiccated coconut, icing sugar, coconut milk, sweet oak with dried tropical fruits.

 Finish: Bursts of coconut and floral honey.
