With a color that is still deep, bright and young, the 2008 does not seem to be 6 years old.
Nose: The nose is intense and complex with hints of cedar, paprika, cherry, plum and nuances of lavender.
Mouth: The wine on the palate is sweet, concentrated and subtle. The tannin on the palate is silky, envelops the palate and the freshness adds length to the wine. It is tasty and juicy.
Pairing: Ideal to accompany a cuisine based on ham, loin and acorn-fed Iberian chorizo, red meat, game and some cheeses. It stands out with dishes such as the cecina de León with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil or the hare terrine and onion jam.
