Pleasing opening aromatics have notes of black plum, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and leather. The palate centers the attention with tones of blue fruits , more cassis , a hint of licorice and sweet oak. Well integrated tannins keep the wine approachable in its youth while the balancing acidity gives it some aging potential.
